The year was off to a sleazy start in Gatlinburg, but was quickly followed
by being drafted and sworn in under more dignified conditions.
The 1995 adventures started: the Ohio JCI Pig roast; the Michigan Golf Outing; New Orleans - 1st US JCI B.O.D. (city of hand grenades and hurricanes), the Border Bash i.e. Ayers-Malac Wedding; and ended in Gaylord by being honored to be seated on the dais with Mike Marshall, US Jaycees President, and Walt Downes, Michigan Jaycees President, for the Michigan Jaycees 70th Anniversary. 1996 commenced with the US JCI B.O.D. in sunny San Francisco (thank you Pat and Sandy for almost losing the first lady). This was followed by a snowstorm in Grand Rapids for the 1996-97 elections, only to be out done by frigid weather at Region V's Spring Fling in Aurora, Ohio (ah yes, Bad Frog to keep us warm). |
