This year was a busy year - the year of the FEZ!! He traveled over
10,000 miles from the Ohio border to the U.P... It was a year of
first.
We attended our first National Region Meeting in Williamsburg, VA., attended a Michigan-Illinois football game in Champaign with the Illinois Senate and reciprocating the next year. It was the first Michigan Past President night with Jaycee and Senate Presidents. Twelve monthly meetings were held (3) in Howell plus Frankenmuth, Grand Rapids, Bridgeport-Saginaw, Mackinaw Island, Flint, Kalamazoo, Detroit, Lansing and Wyoming. Also a family picnic, golf outing and post holiday party. Jeanette and Mark Schumacher #27395 made sure our hospitality room was well stocked. Our membership goal of 325 was maintained, holding our standing as second largest in the US JCI Senate. All in all, it was a remarkable and memorable year for us. (Written by Marilyn Krekorian) |
